Presentation

In the framework of the "Human Settlement and paleoenvironment in West Africa" project in Dogon Country (Mali), my field research relates to the Late Neolithic/Later Stone Age and the transition to the Early Iron Age (2500-500 BC), and to the establishment of a chronostratigraphic framework of a settlement mound of the pre-Dogon period (700-1300 AD). I also work on a synoptic approach of cultural phenomena that accompany the spread of herding and agriculture in West Africa. I participate in the teaching at the laboratory Archaeology and Settlement of Africa. Since 2008, I have also been coordinating the [website of the research project in Mali.] (Http://www.ounjougou.org/).
